Our Philosophy

Established in 2015, LiaBraaten Pig Ranch set out to recreate the taste of yesteryear. After realizing the demand for clean and healthy pork, we have expanded into a thriving farm to table business.

Our Philosophy

At LiaBraaten Pig Ranch, we believe the outdoors, sunshine, exercise, and the ability to root and wallow as nature intended are the main factors in raising flavorful healthy pork. We never use drugs, vaccines, hormones, or farrowing crates.

Our Products

We offer whole and half hogs on the hoof. We also have a wide inventory of various pork cuts ready for immediate pickup at the Ranch. All are inspected and vacuum sealed.

Interested in a Whole or Half a Hog?

Buying a whole or half a hog is a bit more economical and you can tailor the processing to your exact preference. You pay $3.25 a pound hanging weight, which is usually between 210 and 225 pounds, to LiaBraaten Pig Ranch directly, and immediately when your pig is delivered to the processor and we receive an accurate weight. You will then be contacted by the processor for your cut list instructions. Upon completion you will pay the processor directly when you pick up your completed order.

What makes pork from LiaBraaten Pig Ranch Special?

We try to duplicate the taste and quality of yesteryear before factory confinement farming. Our hogs are raised outdoor on dirt, enjoying the sunshine. This leads to a superior taste and texture.

Are you hogs ever given any shots or vaccines including MNRA?

No antibiotics, vaccines, or hormones of any kind ever! Nor do we clip needle teeth or bob tails.

Do you sell small pigs that I can raise myself?

Yes, LiaBraaten Pig Ranch sells feeder pigs. All piglets are weaned and all males are cut before they are ready for sale.

Do you use farrowing or gestation crates?

We will never use either. We generally try to put the momma's in a spacious pen, for them to birth in. If they happen to farrow in the open field, they are plenty capable of protecting and raising the piglets.

What payment methods does LiaBraaten Pig Ranch accept?

LiaBraaten Pig Ranch accepts all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept PayPal and Apple Pay. For in person, or call in orders Venmo, Cash and Check are also available.
